Welcome
Grenofen Gun Dogs
Purveyors of old fashioned type working spaniels
Our dogs excel at rough shooting, beating, picking up and also field trialling.
Grenofen Gun Dogs has developed over the years through natural progression of our love of the countryside and a passion for quality working gun dogs.
We are based in Devon and our dogs are regularly worked on Dartmoor and local shoots on the Devon and Cornwall border.
We have access to around 10,000 acres of local farmland which is some of the harshest terrain in the country.
Our dogs are bred to work continuously all day.

Breeding
Here at Grenofen Gun Dogs we pride ourselves in breeding and working with quality English Springer Spaniels for the shooting field
Matings
All mating’s are carefully planned to improve the compatibility, conformation and enhancement of our working bloodlines.
Working
Our dogs are bred with good natural working instinct, with brain stamina and sound temperament. They are all tireless workers, biddable natural retrievers and totally mute when working.
Kennels
We are an amateur kennels meaning we only breed when we need to expand our current team.
QUALITY
We tend not to chase the latest in vogue Field Trial Champions but pride ourselves in only adding new blood from time to time that we feel will benefit our dogs future, as we are firm believers that we must all do our bit to develop and protect the natural working abilities of our modern working gun dogs.
